A wedding nightmare turned memorable

Celebrating our wedding at the beautiful Giraffe Beach Resort was magical, despite the rocky start. We loved the stunning ocean views from our executive suite.

Unfortunately, the initial room was stuffy and dirty with insects, which created a lot of inconvenience before our wedding day. The room services were slow and had issues.

The kids loved the beach, and I enjoyed the clean, well-kept pool. Having a children's playground was a big hit with our little ones. We spent a lovely evening at the beach, taking in the stunning ocean views. The staff was attentive and helpful during our stay.

In my wife’s opinion, the overall dining options could use more variety for families. Also, the corridors were quite hot.

The peanut soup was a delightful discovery, bursting with local flavors that danced on my palate. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast spread had enough variety—like the fresh tropical fruits—that I couldn't resist diving in each morning. Plus, the beach view? Absolutely stunning!

the central location of the hotel allows for some fantastic walking adventures to stunning beaches and nearby islands like Bongoyo and Mbudya, making it really easy to soak up the tropical vibes while having fun discovering the area.

The beach view from my ocean-facing room was stunning, but the cleanliness of the beach was disappointing, which limited my enjoyment.

great staff but minor room issues

The staff were super friendly and professional, ensuring all my requests were met. I appreciated the cleanliness of the pool and beach area, which made my stay relaxing. The room offered a stunning ocean view that added to my overall experience, especially during sunset.

This place suits me perfectly with excellent amenities like reliable wi-fi, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, and 24-hour reception. The staff even helped me late at night when I had a room issue, which I remember fondly. I highly recommend!

Breakfast was the highlight!

We had a three-night stay here and loved the breakfast—seriously, it was awesome. The room was nice too, super comfy with a great ocean view. Dinner was kinda meh, wish they had more local dishes though. Just a heads up, the service could be a lot faster, waited ages for some drinks.

Ramada offers comfortable and spacious rooms with excellent cleanliness and facilities. The ocean view from my room was astonishing, enhancing my stay significantly. Additionally, the hotel staff were attentive and helpful, assisting in various conference arrangements, allowing for a productive business experience. The proximity to the beach made for a refreshing break after long work hours.

The food choices were somewhat limited.

Had an amazing time with my friends! We enjoyed the beautiful beach and the swimming pool. We also checked out Lugalo Golf Course and took the Zanzibar Ferry. The staff was friendly, but the food options could use improvement. Make sure to get a room with a sea view for a relaxing stay.
